I have been a fan of Mandy Moore since 2004. I find Mandy extremely gifted and talented. There are not many celebrities out there today who show such realism and show people that it is ok to be yourself no matter who you are or what you do.Mandy Moore is not afraid to be true to herself. For that, was the inspiration behind the creation of this site. Her trueness to herself, her genuinity, is what made me a fan of hers, and is the reason for this site being online.

The purpose of the creation of this website is to release a fan site dedicated to Mandy Moore on the internet that has the intention of being fun and entertaining. Moore of Mandy promises to offer visitors up to date content, images, and other Mandy Moore related information. There are so many great Mandy Moore websites out there and I am in no way trying to compete with any of them. If anything, I am just wanting to add to the class of great sites of Mandy.

I am so happy to be able to release this website to the public to share my admiration for her and I hope that fans will continue to love Moore Of Mandy just as much as I have loved creating it. This is my dedication to Mandy Moore, and I am glad I am able to share my internet collection with her many fans all over the world. I planned on this site being a success, and when I launched it, I was not sure how the fans would react to having a newbie site dedicated to Mandy online. I am honored that so many from all over the world have embraced this website as it has amassed over 60 million hits.

My goal was to showcase this site to show off Mandy's beauty as an entertainer, but more so as a person along with showcasing her many talents as a musician and an actress. To create a site, without adding paparazzi photos, rumors, or other related media, photos or content that is false and misleading to Mandy Moore, and the visitors of this website. Another goal was for this site to be a place of promotion for her career, to have her exsisting fans, along with new fans enjoy her as a person, and her career by recieving updated info, photos, and other great things. I created this page with the fan in mind. To think what fans would want, what things interest them, and entertain them. My main goal was to create a site, that was very respectfully done, to showcase Mandy in a positive light, that if she saw this website herself, she would be very proud of. I plan on continuing this site for many MOORE years to come and I thank everyone who has continued to make this site the wonderful success it has become.

About the name

Moore of Mandy.com came about from my mom actually. I wanted to pick a domain name, and overall name for the site that was original and unique along with different from the other Mandy fansites out there. My intention is never to copy other fansites, so picking something that was different from others out there, was important. After kicking around many different names for the site, along with the domain, my mom said, "How about Moore Of Mandy?". Not only did the name have a great ring to it, it also had the uniqueness I was looking for. Moore of Mandy symbolizes that visitors who view the site, will in fact, get Moore of Mandy, in many ways. Whether it is viewing photos, videos, updated news, fans are always going to get as extensive Mandy information and resources as it is possible. So there you have it. The mastermind behind the name and domain of Moore Of Mandy. Thanks Mom, and the many great fans thank you too. : )

Inspiration behind the layout

The inspiration behind this layout was the photoshoot from MEAN magazine from from March/April 2006. This particular photoshoot taken by Patrick Hoelck, showed a mysteriously sexy side to Mandy. It classified her beauty and showcased her as a mature young woman. This MEAN photoshoot is a fan favorite, and although I did a layout previously with one of the MEAN photos, I thought I would incorporate a different feel with this layout by using different photos and colors than I did in the previous layout. This photoshoot was very easy to design and express creativity, which leads to the look we now have.
